Bipolar depression

Two part cycle of linocut made for my graphics class. It's theme is bipolar depression, something I suffer from myself. One piece is about depression episode and the other about manic episode. It is depicting a human character being devoured by a monster. And even though on the latter piece the person is sitting uptight, they still are being held by the being and their wounds not healed. It symbolizes the fact that the consequences of what happened during depression are still haunting us when we are "better".

2 black and white graphics, 30x40cm, linocut, made in 2026. There are 4 sets, two of them having additional layer of failed blind embossing.
